I adore photographing newborn babies. Their newness makes my heart melt and I love everything about them from their un-coordinated movements to their little snuggly noises and the way they are all unique. I feel so lucky to meet so many of your babies and photograph their first weeks in a world they will soon come to learn all about.

However as we all know, the newborn stage is all too fleeting and before you know it your tiny baby starts to develop and reveal their personality. They get stronger and start to explore their little world around them. Before you know it they are rolling over, pushing themselves up and then sitting on their own… how clever!!

When you book a newborn shoot with Tiny Baby Studio I really dont like to say goodbye at the end of the session, so I include a FREE mini ‘Sitter Session’. This means I get to see your baby once again and capture this very important milestones for you. These sessions are around 45 mins and we are able to use a variety of backdrops and outfits to create some memorable portraits of your growing baby.

Babies can usually sit unsupported at around 8 months (some earlier, some later). They are full of smiles and very curious about what’s around them and they love reaching for toys. They usually aren’t crawling so stay in one place which makes the shoot somewhat easier! However, don’t underestimate the power of the ‘serious look’!!
